Volkswagen
New Face Lift Beetle, which has a subtle restyle of the
classic New Beetle shape coincides with the arrival of Luna
models - extra value entry-level variants for both the
hatchback and the Cabriolet.
The range starts with the 1.4-litre Luna hatchback, moving
up through the 1.6-litre Luna, 1.9-litre TDI, 2.0-litre
(with manual or automatic transmission), and finishing with
the range-topping 1.8T. The Cabriolet mirrors the engine
range of the hatchback.
The Luna variants replace the previous 1.4-litre and
1.6-litre models, and now features 16" Houston alloy
wheels, in addition to an attractive standard specification
which includes: ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme)
with ABS; driver’s, front passenger’s and front seat
side airbags with active front seat head restraints;
radio/CD player; electric windows; plus remote central
locking with alarm and interior protection.
The restyled New Beetle is set to continue the success of
this distinctive and loveable car. Its new look features
sharper edges to its wheel arches and bumpers, along with
subtly reshaped headlights and red round tail lights with
white circles contained within. The ‘VW’ emblems front
and rear have also been revised.
In addition, a new range of colours and alloy wheels are now
available, complemented by new fabrics for the interior.
Chrome adorns the air vents and surrounds the instruments,
for an even greater feeling of quality inside.
